1100Z Well I pulled the trigger

I pulled the trigger, so to speak. 4 years ago, started with co2 rifle, then went to break barrel and now just ordered the Barra 1100z .177 and an air venturi air compressor. I went with the Barra brand because I have their sportsman dual caliber single shot break barrel and am very happy with the quality, power and the accuracy. That is why I decided on the 1100z, they have good reviews. It was scary for me to shell out $775 for rifle and compressor. My finger went back and forth withe the place order button. Now I can't wait. The compressor will be here on the 24th and the rifle on the 27th or the 28th.

It has a hammer spring adjustment so I guess it's a gen1. I have a feeling there's a lot to learn about PCP's

Nice, welcome to the Pcp world, my first pcp purchase went like that too....i had to question my decision/sanity for a while! The problem is.... now you'll have a compressor so if you get hooked the next pcp can be justified easier

Am I correct that if the hammer spring is adjustable, then it's an unregulated rifle ? The description said it was unregulated and that the hammer spring was adjustable. Does a regulated PCP have an adjustable hammer spring ?

Regulated also can have adjustable hammer. Description said unregulated though, so unregulated. All of my pcps are unregulated (2 ), nothing wrong with it.

Not for awhile, My .177 pellet count is 44 tins with 20 different types. A little less for my .22 pellet supply.

Gen 2s also have a hammer spring at least mine does. These are great inexpensive rifles. Mine is a 25 caliber gen 2 and the side lever is extra nice. I get 27 shots per fill the way I've got it tuned and it is very accurate and sighted in at 35 yards. Have the Buckrail 40 dollar moderator on the front to keep things quiet and a Pinty 3 x 9 40 side focus scope from Amazon for a great budget rifle I keep by the back door at the ready for anything I see coming across my property. Great pesting rig. Enjoy yours brother!

That's a nice stock of pellets you've got there! I hoard them in all the calibers of my guns along with a few thousand slugs. Crap will hit the fan someday and a shortage of lead or ammo will not be on our list of things to worry about.
