Pyramyd’s top-sellers list shows the amazing popularity of CO2-powered Glock air pistols. Now Umarex has introduced optics-ready Glock air pistol upgrades to fit many models. There’s also a compact, lightweight Umarex red dot sight too.
Optics-ready pistols have been a recent development in the firearms world. To complement the speed and precision red dot users are experiencing with firearms, Umarex Airguns is now offering optics-ready airguns.
Umarex’s 1:1 replicas of some of the top pistol brands such as Glock and Walther allow users to practice drills such as drawing and firing or changing magazines in the backyard, rather than at the range and at minimal cost, the company says. The addition of adapter plates allows users to customize their airgun to match their firearm.
The Umarex Red Dot Sight 8 (RDS8) is a compact and lightweight red dot sight (8 MOA) with two brightness levels. As a universal aiming aid, it is suitable for Umarex optics-ready adapter plates and is thus compatible with various CO2-powered air pistols. The footprint is the same as that of C-More. A Picatinny universal mount is also included.
An integrated auxiliary rear sight takes over when the Red Dot is turned off, meaning you can continue to shoot your target using the RDS8, even if the red dot is no longer projected.
Umarex has four packs of Trijicon, C-More, Leupold and Vortex adapter plates available for Walther and Glock CO2-powered air pistols.
