Well, I tested the TX 200 when I received it in November of '23. The Air arms 8.4 turned in the best numbers.
Ave. 879
SD. 2.3
Ext. 9
Fpe. 14.41
I was interested to see what would happen if I tested it again a little over two years later with moderate use.

Same pellet
Ave. 885.7
SD. 2.2
Ext. 8.0
Fpe 14.6

Virtually no change. I've been thinking about putting a 12lb kit in it to smooth it out even more, hopefully add some longevity to the shooting sessions.

Installing a Vortek 12 fb drop in kit will change your gun for sure and all in a good way. You should experience less recoil, smoother cocking ,0 twang and more consistent accuracy. I have 3 Tx guns in various configurations and all with 12fb Vortek kits.
Each person has their own preferences, but I I find a full power spring gun which is probably about 16 foot pounds, very harsh and just not a whole lot of fun to shoot.
I didn’t always think that. It just sort of evolved over the years. I am primarily a bench shooter. My range on my property goes out to 62 yards with accuracy being my only concern. With my hunter carbine and Mark 3 TX , both in .177, I could hit dimes all day at that distance, providing the wind very still . However, my TX and .22 just doesn’t seem to be as accurate for some reason ? I haven’t quite figured it out yet.. environment Having a really good scope it’s a big part of the accuracy equation .

Every barrel is different. You know that but sometimes we all need reminding. Hitting dimes consistently at 62 yards is good shooting.

Could be something as simple as having increased lock time due to the heavier pellet weight.
