I was shooting my Gen 1 Gauntlet today and it still shoots awesome after over 30K of pellets. It is lighter now, with a carbon fiber bottle and a 3d printed cheek adjuster and I did a lot of work to it and changed out some parts and it is and has been quite the shooter.
I have been following all the latest versions and developments and I love the fact that Umarex actually listens to what their customers want and do that, instead of just doing what they feel we should want. The G2 came with more power, and now they all have sidelevers. Bravo Umarex, bravo!
So, since you listen to users advice, I have some ideas for your next upgrade to the Gauntlet line, which I would assume to be the G3. The biggest problem with all the Gauntlets, to me personally, is the Gauntlet is really big. Which isn't so much of a problem once you are where you are at, and shooting, but it's getting there. I am not saying that you should make a bullpup, as that would be asking a lot, but just making a new or additional stock for the existing platform is not such a stretch. Most importantly, making a folding stock, so we don't need ridiculously long gun cases for transport. I guess while you were at it, since you already turned up the power with the G2's, you could also have a shorter barrel too, and make the whole gun just handy to use and take along. When you introduced the gun you said you were throwing down the Gauntlet, well, now it's time to make it fit like a glove.
