The Reason Outdoors - Veterans and First Responders Outreach

While at the Pyramyd Air Cup 2026 my homemade shooting rests received a lot of attention. Prior to the second round I was introduced to a gentleman looking at my rest (Recon Marine) that is involved with an organization that takes veterans, first responders and their families on hunting and fishing trips. I mentioned that I had met a fellow veteran on HAM that had experienced a health setback and was wanting to get out hunting again. He gave me their information to share with him. I didn’t feel it was appropriate to share anyone’s information with another person/organization and so I didn’t do that. I will share the organizations info here. If you know a vet or first responder that may be interested in their services, please let them know about the organization. They basically take them out on hunting and fishing trips. I will contact the vet that I thought might find it useful as they said they’d try and take him airgun Iguana hunting. I also used the conversation to plug HAM
