That's a fact! Don't sound like EVERY Ranger barrel so different though. Like you said, I will just be sticking to my Talon Condor or EscapeSS. 25 for any slugs. The Ranger just gonna be fed a diet of good lead pellets. For trash panda sized pests, that's all it needs.

I agree! It's my go to rifle right now and set up perfect so if i do my part the critter is going down! Just got an order again of some AEA Center Punch 25 pellets in as the Ranger really enjoys spitting these out! Epic combination.

I havent tried any of those. Just the JTS 25s and the H&N 20 grainers. And I just tried the H&Ns yesterday. Very impressed with the light h&n accuracy at 30 yards, dead solid. Can tell the difference in the slap into the double thick 2x4s though. They just don't punch as deep. But then, I ain't trying to kill 2x4s. And at 7 bucks a tin for 200, they perfect for plinking and lighter pests.
