AEA Northtac bullpup is good, but getting a slight puff in the face when firing and Bin said it is normal? Nice 4500 psi fill, .22 18" barrel getting 975 fps with JSB 25.39 gr.. 22 round magazine. But the puff is concerning me as the o ring is on the bolt.. Any ideas?

Does it have any tiny holes at the rear of the barrel shroud? It could be that, if it does. Kinda a thing with many bullpups.. Lot of people either put scotchbrite pad inside to cover the holes, stopping the annoying puff, or they just turn the shroud around. Heard lots of guys say that about the Beeman under lever bullpups, and the Pinty short bullpup.

I'm betting the breach o ring thats what its been on all three of my Beeman bullpups
Try loosening the set screws that holds the push rod for the bolt (above the barrel). There are two screws that oppose each other and pull the push rod forward and retighten the two screws. That seemed to do the trick for me. I think the bolt wasn't fully foward because the push rod was not adjusted properly. Mine seems OK now.
