So, I got a new Vanguard .22 from Pinty Friday, and today was able to clean it, check it all out, fill and shoot. I mounted a Monstrum 3x circle in dot site, set up my tripod at 25 yards, and see how it does. This little lite weight rifle is a complete joy to shoot. I used the FX Hades copies, and got 3 full mags. It fell off the regulator on the 1st shot of magazine 4. This thing shoots the Fx 15 grain hp like a Lazer beam at 25 yards. I accidentally flipped on my chrony the other day without knowing it. And killed my 9v battery, so no numbers. But, behind my target board is a large and heavy In dustrial fiberglass tote,, it blew straight through the tote, all pellets sinking into my 2x4 stacked backstop. So plenty of fur and feather pesting power, a lot more than I would have expected anyway. For the current price of the Vanguard, I dont know how anything can touch it. This thing would make a heckuva grandkids rifle to train on and hunt with. Use code PINTYJT for an extra discount.1000001850.webp1000001851.webp

Guess I need to find out. Only drawback I've found is that the aftermarket magazines sit a little higher that the factory mags, guess that comes with holding couple more pellets. Isn't a lot of room between mags and scope bottom, that's why I went with the 3x dot in circle. I will try a variable optic on it, see how that does out to 30-40 yards.
