I seen some info a while back I can't find again. So I'm going to shoot the jsb 16.2 .177 cal on a quick vacation weather permitting. I need about 40-50 more fps to shoot these accurate as I've seen the info collected by individuals on air gun forums. I don't have shims but was going to make them from thin washers ...any info to pass along when doing this kind of work I would love. I don't want to port yet I want to see what this rifle has and I haven't touched the regulator yet.... Thanks for any help folks! Have a blessed day.

He has a lot of mods for the liberty.
I have a 22 liberty I'm going to have a valve and poppet made, maybe a plenum too if I can find a machine shop around Omaha to take it to. My plan is to keep it in the family. I got a 25 cal Seneca Aspen that I will remove the pump and turn back to a standard PCP.

To increase the hammer spring preload on my 2 Nova Liberty (177 and 22) I used M6 washers.

You can also buy other hammer springs.
Measure the hammer spring, spring guide, hammer hole, etc
Buy a spring with a ticker wire that fits in.
