After I jammed 2 16.2 jsb pellets on an ATI Nova Liberty .177 and realized I didn't have any rod that small to remove the pellets....well I just decided to break down my 25 cal Aspen since it isn't used much. I removed the barrel, adjustable hammer spring set up, and stock since it has a hole for the adjustment on to a Nova Liberty, removing said parts. I had to drill out the pin hole to add on the hammer spring adjuster which was a 7/32nd drill bit. I ported the barrel to 13/64th. The regulator I turned a quarter turn counter clockwise and will see what I can do later. It will be interesting to chrono it later today or tomorrow when I have time. I have to go look at some plumbing side jobs(helps pay for all this) and other weekend stuff. Can't wait to see what it will hold! I'll be interested to see what fpe I get from the 177 frame. One thing I noticed about the power wheel is the one from the 177 appears oversized. I'll probably take the power port off the Aspen and compare it to the Liberty before I finish putting it together. Fun stuff!!!!!

Do not drill out the power adj. It's just plastic and will fail. ***ATI NOVA LIBERTY Modification DANGER do not drill TP Wheel*** - Airguns & Guns Forum

I have to figure out how to swap out the bolt probe. I had a pinched nerve I was working out most of the week along with overtime so I hadn't yet completed it yet. The barrels swap out very easy. I have a side job to complete after work the next week and then I'll have some free time! Maybe today if I get enough accomplished...

What are you hoping to get in fpe? At one time I had a .25 cal Avenger 42fpe stock when I was done it was 100 fpe but I dialed it back to 70 but it shot like a Lazer.

I have been toying with the .22 Liberty and used an Avenger barrel and probe to convert to .25. Changed stock to an AE SWEDE Avenger AR style. Only getting 900 FPS and 40 FPE out of it with 20 gr pellets the way it was set stock .22. Going to take her apart and port it to try to get to a higher FPE.

So an avenger aftermarket stock works with the Liberty, no issues?

It fits for the rear buttstock/breech area but need to come up with something for the forearm. I cut mine to make it work. Not perfect but works. Think if I can get it shooting right I will swap one on my wooden stock Libertys around.

Your biggest hurdle is the power adj. The hole can't be made larger. I've got one of Duys replacement adj. Unfortunately Duy doesn't make parts for the liberty anymore.

Did you get the did you get the Aspen apart to get the probe out of it ? I took an avenger breech apart to get the probe and it had to be completely disassembled to get it out It appears the Liberty/Aspen/Freedom are the same. I stopped when I realized this.
The Liberty is the same. I think there are some videos of it.
