Nine pest birds for my Pathfinder…

Went out after pest birds today, these unfortunate nine were caught in the act of stealing feed. I missed opportunities on at least 6 more, wasn’t ready for shots and some I just plain missed… Either way a fun few hours. The owner wants me to prioritize woodchucks. So the Ghost Carbine is coming out to play next… Shots from 25 to 40 on the pictured pests…

Nicely done! Odd, I bagged exactly 9 birds last Saturday ... Got 5 today between chores. 2 strawberry thieves (20Y) and 3 young starlings (45Y) only recovered 2 bodies, all with the S510....in some decent wind I might add! You still using cphp Luis? I used 15.89 Hades today.....just devastating. First 3 shots were misses. On the third one I saw EXACTLY were pellet went, held 1 starling body width left and a tad high for the wind and 4th, 5th, and 6th connected! 3 out of 6 in 30km/hr-ish wind.

@Danman, yes I am still sending the CPHPs, sub 50 yards, they simply devastate the small pest birds…

Luis , If your place is anything like mine , 'Chucks should be running amuck! Last week I bagged a family of three that were raising havoc on the new soybeans( man those must taste good!). The Juvies were about the same size. Later
I got another 3 of 4 family w/ what looked like a runt & a bigger Juvie. This week I took out another group of three & a single off to my right from another hole. I'm currently at 47 'hogs ( 2 w/ ,22lr &.22 wmr). Plenty out there yet.

@mrage, they are out there alright, I just haven’t had the time to properly set up on them. And thankfully they are not are my property. 47 hogs is quite the dent in their population…

Leon it’s nice to have a pcp that shoots the cphp accurately and I’m fortunate that I have 2 that likes them, vet1 standard and a vixen shorty. Your pathfinder is a sweet looking pesting rig. How do you have it set up, fpe and shot count?

I get about 80 shots from a full fill…

Little shoot this evening with my vet 1 25 standard. 8 bb’s 2 sparrows. I needed a little trigger time.
