Nightfall MK2 grip mods / tuning / sights

Hey all, recently received a new nightfall mk2, and am generally pretty pleased with it. It shoots JSB 15.89 and JTS 16.08 at 900+ fps easily. It is super accurate at 25 yds.

I find the grip a bit uncomfortable though.

Has anyone found a compatible aftermarket grip? Does it take a typical AR grip with no issues?

I have a set of UTG flip up slim peep sights, would the high top rail make zeroing impossible?

Also, has anyone here tried turning up the regulator? Mine is set to stock 1400, but I think a tiny bit more juice would allow it send some lightweight slugs with more authority. Right now im getting about 830 fps with HN HP2 21g slugs. But if the internals can't handle the higher pressure I don't want to push it.

Any thoughts or suggestions for mods/improvements?

Unfortunately the Nightfall pistol grip is not AR-compatible.

Dunno about the peep sights question. You'll just need to try it and see.

This is the new Mk II version of the Pinty Nightfall PCP air rifle. Improvements are an improved trigger and a standard thread on the muzzle.

I very much doubt that there will be any issues with increasing the regulator pressure. But I would try adjusting the hammer spring tension first. That's much easier to do than adjusting the regulator on this gun. The HubenPower regulator requires an additional accessory part that's not sold with the gun in order to change reg pressure easily.
