Others New Tex Rex Stock Build

Taking my latest Texan stock design and made changes to fit the Tex Rex. The valve on the Tex Rex is considerably bigger than the Texan and Condor valves in diameter and length.

Had a request for one in the Tree Bark camo laminate, but want to prove out the CNC program before cutting it, so using a nice being of walnut to run the program through the first time.

First operation complete with roughing out the left hand side.

Question, Did you use threaded inserts for the bottle clamp to avoid having to use wood screws?

Yes there will be steel thread inserts used in the stock for the bottle strap.
