Condor Making A Custom Walnut Stock For The Condor

[Loren]

I have been holding on to this walnut slab for a while and decide to take half of it and cut a stock for one of my Condors.

Left hand side roughed out.

You sir are a crafsman for sure.

If you have the time, or even want, it would be cool to see the entire process. From design to build, I know personally have never seen one of those machines.

I will have to do that sometime . That could be a whole book.

Thanks!

Both sides finish cut. There a small knot and a checking line out on the forearm that I will fill with epoxy. If it breaks it breaks. It will not be the first piece of CNC cut fire wood that I have made.

[Loren]

About ready to pull it off the machine

[Loren]

Recoil pad fitting and sanding in process. Some of this wood is harder that woodpecker lips, and is sure shows up with slow sanding progress. Wetted down to raise the grain and get a peek in the chocolate box.

Oh she's gonna be a thirst trap for all the shooter boys.

[Loren]

It's done!
