Man I kept staring at it this morning eating breakfast, maybe I will get out after work to shoot it. I will not be running a chronograph over it as thats been done but I sure as hell will be testing it at the distances its to be used at 15y-60y.

Not very often but I have to save my vacation time for competitions this year, I am taking a week off for NAC in April, trying to make it to RMAC , PAC, and EBR as well. Just handling 1 at a time as they come.

I hope that once my son is old enough we can go to some of those events.

Those are very valid reasons, But I think I would still feel an overwhelming amount of impulsive selfishness. I admire your discipline and self-control.

17 years at the same place and policy is it still accrues. I have never taken much time off and I enjoy what I do.
We get 8 hrs a month and also a yearly longevity dump that keeps going up. This year I will get 96 hours added in October. We also have sick time. I took 12 weeks off after my son was born and still have 400 hours of sick.
When I retire I'll get a pretty good check. Then I will buy a Alkin and a fancy rifle for my retirement!

I have to have it man otherwise id be dead lmao ... no but really. Airgunning is 1 of 3 hobbies I have that I just find to be that relaxing thing for me, the feel good endorphins. I was into the automotive hobby in many different aspects, HATED IT , even though I thought I loved it.

So for me, to sit down and shoot even just a couple/few groups after work, releases any of the worries of the day up until that point
