Yeah its no fun dealing with all the legal hassle sometimes. I contemplated just getting a fast twist barrel right from L.W. and having my dad machine it to fit the Ghost. Then if it shot slugs well id get a carbon fiber tube and mock up the shroud/stripper etc. The OE slug barrel twist is 1:17.7 and has been around for ages. I'd get the 1:15.7 twist if i could pick in 600 or 700mm if getting it straight from Lothar Walther. My fear though is Cdn border taking the barrel and it never makes it here
I haven't seen any reviews with the .30cal Brk slug barrel yet, I'd be interested in all the specs/accuracy for sure! I believe the .25 is the same twist as the .22 and .177.

Brk does not have a 30 or 25 slug barrel. You would have to go sub moa

No the .25 slug barrel is available (and has been out for a while now, see @Lee unsworth posts ) and @precision overwatch was shooting with .25 slug barrel a while ago. AGS sells the Ghost with the .25 slug barrel and a 580cc bottle as standard now too. No .30 yet that I have seen though.

The info i have is straight from aoa by phone call. What can i say. The 700 25 @30 barrels are pellet barrels no slug barrel listed

What is in the Kit?​

The full kit comprises match-grade BRK rifled Barrel, c-f shroud, with magazine and breech bolt to match barrel caliber. You can choose from .177 (4.5mm) or .22 (5.5mm) in either 17in (430mm) or 177 (4.5mm) .22 (5.5mm) .25 (6.35mm) and .30 (7.62mm) in 23in (60mm) or 28″ (711mm) length with the option on the 28″ to shoot slug projectiles.

So this is not a .30 slug barrel?

So i was told by aoa over the phone they had 1 listing for each 700mm 25&30 cal barrels and they were pellet barrels. Thats all i know. Even the 700mm 177 barrel is choked the 22 700mm barrel is not choked and has a sticker saying its a slug barrel i have 1. The 177 barrel does shoot slugs very well @ 100yds

I assure you AOA is wrong. Brk website and my Dealer says so. They may not have stock? but the barrels exist.

Ahhh i'm a sucker for .177 & .22caliber
Not sure if you have Facebook? Check the special edition Blue Ghost video from Brocock shooting with a .25cal slug barrel posted on July 26. Thing shot slugs pretty good @ 70Y in some pretty serious wind to boot!
And I just watched an Airgun Extra video posted last year where Tony himself says there is 13 different barrels available for the Ghost now.

Ahh sorry it was 13 not 11! In that Video Tony B said they just had to work out the .30cal slug barrel yet. What bothers me then and still now is....where is the promotion vids of people shooting the .22 and .25? .177 got some good coverage but nothing bigger

Well all i can say is buy 1 and prove it. Theres been 1 person on agn that claimed to have a 700-25 and it was a pellet that he thought was a slug and 1 person that bought a 30 he thought was a slug but was 1-30 and i posted a vid here if a guy shooting slugs but that was a 23” pellet barrel

At this point the GK v3 in .22 standard not the shorty. Should be great for when I move a rail road tie by the grazing area, during the summer 5-6 rats run out. Should be a blast. And I won't do to my Brothers in Wickenburg AZ without some kind of good airgun. He has scorpions and snakes all over his 20 acre parcel
