.22 H&N Slug HP

Tested the H&N .22 slug HP this morning and the Red Wolf didn't like it at all. Chrono at 930FPS at low power setting. The target below at 40 yards tells the tale . Will test it with the Skout EVO next week.

Heyyyy that looks like my Ghosts groups with em What grain did you try? Absolutely beautiful looking ammo but the Ghost hates em. I have 2 H&N slug test packs in .217 and .218 from 21- 30gr. It's not accurate or consistent outta the 600mm barrel even at optimal speeds. I've shot two 5 shot groups to date at a measly 40Y...miserable. Pop in 5 mrds after and groups ratchet right up tight! So I'm saving em for later
On that note, testing the 21gr .217/.218 in the S510 is on my to-do list! The Evo should be better

21gr. I might try it later at higher power to see but I doubt it will be better. May be the LW barrel on the EVOL can shoot it better.

The HP2 .217 30 grain works great in my AirMax Krait X.
