Although the product is not due to be available until April 2026, Avenge-XL parts availability is already being planned and implemented by Air Venturi.
YES! Let’s take a look at how this outstanding product support is being implemented.
At an “accessory level”, additional magazines are already listed on the Pyramyd website, as are caliber-change kits in all three calibers – .22, .25 and .30.
But there’s more. Much more!
A little research reveals that the Pyramyd website already contains a comprehensive collection of detailed parts diagrams. And these are not just simple PDF files. There’s a comprehensive, interactive webpage that allows parts selection and ordering simply by clicking on the part number.
For example, in the Avenge-XL parts diagram for the receiver, I clicked on part number 30. The part number is highlighted with a yellow background as shown and the precise part indicated on a checklist. You can add it into the shopping cart with just one click.
Very neat!
As you can see, the parts diagrams are beautiful, three-dimensional images, obviously derived from original CAD files. They show everything!
Below, we see the gauge block and air tank schematics.
Below are details of the barrel and shroud assembly.
Then there’s the buttstock assemblies, both front and rear…
The only section of the gun which is not available in such a detailed part-by-part breakdown is the trigger assembly. Complete triggers are available, but not the individual component parts.
Although this may frustrate a few, it’s a sensible move by Air Venturi to prevent a potential unsafe situation arising from inexperienced users replacing trigger parts.
To be clear, this level of Avenge-XL parts availability requires a HUGE investment by the company. They need to order and inventory each individual part, with stocks of every part being held in individual parts trays for order picking.
Then there’s the amount of time that has been dedicated to constructing the Avenge-XL interactive parts webpage.
So it’s clear that Air Venturi is dedicated to providing parts availability for its Avenge-XL customers. That’s a massive improvement compared to those companies that do not offer parts availability to owners.
Now of course, with parts availability comes responsibility! There’s many very competent amateur airgunsmiths out there who will love this and have no problems with making their own repairs.
But Air Venturi is also trusting everyone to know their own limitations. There’s no shame in not being able – or wanting – to repair your own airgun. Knowing that parts are available is still a huge advantage as a commercial airgunsmith will know what to do on your behalf…
I’m sure this parts availability will be a major element of making the Air Venturi Avenge-XL a huge success once it gets into customers’ hands in the near future.
