The new Air Venturi Avenge-X Micro Bullpup PCP is the latest addition to this popular, modular air rifle family.
Right back at the Avenge-X introduction in January 2023, Air Venturi laid-out plans for a complete system of configurations. The company certainly has delivered on that promise, introducing a wide range of models since that time. For example, the HAM Gold Award-winning Avenge-X Tactical.
So the new Avenge-X Micro Bullpup is ideally-positioned to capitalize on the recent burgeoning interest in compact PCPs. With an overall length of just 26.25 Inches and weight of 7 Lbs 7 Oz, it offers great handling for hunting in confined spaces plus easy portability and storage.
The Micro is offered in both .22 and .25 calibers. In the smaller caliber it provides up to 35 consistent shots at up to 38 Ft/Lbs of Muzzle Energy, according to Air Venturi specifications. In .25 caliber, you can make that 30 shots and 50 Ft/Lbs respectively.
Obviously both barrel and HPA air tube are shortened to achieve the small footprint. So the tube holds just 130 cc of High Pressure Air and the barrel is 15.75 Inches long.
Of course, the modular design of the Avenge-X means that caliber, tube, barrel and stock for all models can be changed by the owner. Air Venturi provides both the accessory parts and video instructions.
As with other Avenge-X models, the Micro includes sidelever cocking, fully-shrouded barrel and two-stage trigger. It also incorporates externally-adjustable transfer port, hammer spring adjuster and regulator for simple power adjustment capabilities.
In the HAM test review we remarked “there’s no doubt that – at this price – the Avenge-X represents outstanding value in the market. This is because of it’s slew of features, quality and adaptability.”
With a Street Price of $599.99, the Micro Bullpup shows that Air Venturi continues to deliver on that part of the Avenge-X range value proposition, too.
