Impact FX Impact heavy hammer and light spring!

Just want to discuss the effect of heavier hammer and lighter hammer spring in Impact.

It has free floating hammer, hence no double bounce causing wastage of air.

In order to control the dewel of valve, we can install heavy valve return spring and can also adjust the valve travel.

I understand that such set up would give smoother shot cycle without any compromise.

Lock time will increase a bit.

Opinions needed.

Bhaur, great to see you active on this platform. I’ve been adding 2-3 grams of weight to my Impact hammer weight for a total weight of 8-9 grams. It works really well. Increasing the dew in this manner will lower the the SD. I’ve seen guns with SD of less then 1.5 fps over the entire magazine.
