in my Weihrauch lineup - bought a 50s in .22

I know, I know - they're too hard to cock (seriously?) and they don't make enough power (?), just get a 30 or a 95, etc. etc

I think they are slotted really nicely between the 30 and the 95, and I'm happy to have one.

I do admit that I don't find the thought of one in .177 particularly attractive, but that's just me. I robably wouldn't look for one in .25 either, if such a thing existed.

Congrats. That's hilarious....I think the .22 HW50 is silly but in .177 it's perfect. This is why both calibers exist!! I priced out the Hill pcp compressor last night....to my door for the same price I can get a new HW85 and an HW97....hmmm.
Is the 30 stock size ok for adults or more for youths?

I'm 6'0", 300 lbs and the HW30 stock is fine for me.
I have handled older ones and they are nice for an adult.
I own the current version, which had initially turned me a little off with what I considered to be overdone styling. To my surprise, I find the proportions to be remarkably good and I'm now glad that I own that version.
I think that any adult would be happy with it, including ladies and older youths.
I'm thinking that your average 8 year old would struggle with it.

The 50s is about 2 inches longer....about than the 30s . And it has a 15 inch barrel.
Price is right and I don't always need more than that.
