Emergency PCP Fill Solution

Umarex USA has introduced an interesting new emergency PCP fill solution. The company’s N2 Fill Station provides a low-cost, compact and convenient method for taking a back-up source of air with you in the field.

It can also provide a “last ditch” solution in case of charging equipment failure. After all, in an emergency, this could be a life-saver by providing up to 3,600 PSI of pressure if you have no other source of High Pressure Air for your PCP air rifle.

Basically, the Umarex N2 Fill Station is an on/off valve that attaches to an Umarex NitroAir 32 gram cartridge. The N2 Fill Station accepts standard PCP male Foster fittings, either direct to the rifle, or can be connected using an appropriate hose.

Umarex “NitroAir” cartridges were introduced with the Komplete air rifle. Similar in size and concept to the long-standing 88/90 Gram CO2 cartridges, they contain 32 Grams of Nitrogen gas, providing a pressure of 3,600 PSI.

As an emergency PCP fill solution, this could be a worthwhile addition to many shooting bags. The price is $52.99.

They should have put a long chuck on instead of a short one would be useful on more guns.

Keep it in a ziplock with some dessicant to keep the dirt and pocket lint out of the thing and out of your gun.

Would this work with co2 for a bulk fill option? I'm thinking of the old Discovery or vintage Crosman bulk fill CO2 guns. Perhaps with an adapter with correct threads?

I think this is a fantastic idea, bringing the Komplete compact field solution to every airgun rather than having to lug your tanks or compressor along in your vehicle while going hunting and so forth just in case you might need some more air. So portable any small field pack will hold it, so you don't have to stop hunting and walk back to your vehicle in the event that you need a bit more air in your gun. I love that idea. I will be getting one of these for sure.

I love it. Simple, and you don't have to worry about the bottle slowly leaking over time. You would definately want to have a short fill whip with it so that you could keep it tethered to maximize air use.

Good idea. I don’t see why wouldn’t. A 88-90 gr C02 bottle would fit right in.
