Can anyone tell me the ID of the cylinder and what reg pressure these are set too for 6ftlb and if anyone is running near 12ftlb with what settings

Are any other guns in the range running these LW barrels

Well it’s stripped and I’ve got to say what a nice bit of kit this is, never had anything Crosman before and I’m impressed with the engineering, fit and finish.
I wish we had access to parts and options though, still I’ve been helped plenty by John and wished we had agents like him out here

Oh and we could run high fpe like you’s guys

So anyone with one of these great bits of kit that wants or needs to shoot at 16j or 12ftlb limits like the UK it’s very simple
Just lift breech and take transfer port out and ream the small lip acting as a restriction out to the same size at the bore 1/8”
No reg changes needed (Thanks John) and with the valve port adjuster open you are now right in the window and can fine tune with SSG adjuster and or valve port
This simple modification lifted my fps from 675 to 800’s with 7.4wads

Still amazed at the quality of the internals and why we can’t buy these in the UK as they would sell buy the box load I’m sure

I am sorry to hear that. I am not sure why it is so difficult to get parts to England/Europe.

I will say the BSA rifles that I have tested are a great option.

Sadly not such a good option out here John, I bought an ultra and it was like a shotgun, when my rfd asked bsa about warranty they said ‘accuracy’ isnt covered

All quality pcp’s are coming out of Eastern Europe like Taipan, Airmaks, AGT, Edgun and Kalibrgun, it seems near everything else is about cutting corners and lower quality to keep profit margins up

I've had great results with the 2021 Challenger, its helped me win top spots at a few 10 meter competitions. I found this thread while searching for the Challenger 2021 EVP also. i would also like a copy of the EVP if someone has it available. i have a few images i found on an image search but not a complete EVP. I checked the Crosman site and it is still not available there. I did recently call Crosman and ordered a new air reservoir. While on that call i was informed that Crosman wouldn't sell internal part due to liability concerns to non service centers and i wonder if that is why the EVP isn't available.

Quick question.... I want to degas a crosman challenger 2021 so i can install a electronic pressure gage rather than use the OEM manometer.... can you just slowly unscrew the old manometer until the seal breaks or?

The Degas process is easy.

First step is to make sure the rifle is clear and pointing in a safe direction.

Make sure it is not cocked and the bolt is closed.

Grab a 1/4" Allen key and and put it into the back of the tube plug (hole in the back under the breech). Make note of where you start.

Turn it clockwise between 1/8-1/2 a turn or until you hear air coming out.

Once all the air is out, turn the Allen key counterclockwise to your starting location.

Then you can safely swap the gauge.

If you forget where you started with the Allen key, swap the gauge and refill the rifle. Then take your Allen key and turn it clockwise until you hear a tiny amount of air come out. Then turn it back counterclockwise about 1/8-1/4 of a turn.

Yes, it will work the same way, but you will not have to adjust your hammer at all. It is a better way to degas.

Turns out the 2021 Crosman Challenger as built by Airgun Revisions for <20 fpe only needed a 1/4" allen to be turned Clock Wise to degas... then i turned it back to original position. Easy Peasy. Thanks for all the help
Ps... what is the size of the O-0ring under the analog pressure gage...? mine was toast but i found one that sealed it up.
