Hot on the heels of the announcement of the new Alpha Wolf and Delta Wolf Performance models, Daystate Smart versions of the Alpha and Delta Wolf will also be available soon.
Alpha and Delta Wolf “Smart” versions combine the core functionality and performance of existing models with simplified operation. Specifically, the software display interface has been simplified to encourage a “set and forget” shooting style.
The less complicated, “lite” electronics platform of the Daystate Smart models has been facilitated by the omission of the internal electronic chronograph found on other versions of the Alpha Wolf and Delta Wolf.
Daystate assures customers that – thanks to its computerized design – the Smart models’ software can easily be upgraded. So, should you ever want to add the onboard chronograph and full electronics program at a later date, the Alpha and Delta Wolf Smart allow you to do just that.
Effectively, the Daystate Smart models are lightly cost-reduced versions of the existing Delta Wolf and Alpha Wolf. However, the “HP” versions of both models are slated to become available with the new 28-Inch barrel in future.
The long barrel increases the maximum Muzzle Energy from 105 to 115 Ft/Lbs in .30 caliber. In .25 cal, the increase is from 75 to 81 Ft/Lbs. The .22 power increases from 71 to 78 Ft/Lbs with the longer barrel, while in .177 caliber, power is up from 34 to 37 Ft/Lbs.
To be clear, the Alpha and Delta Wolf Smart models retain the user-set touchscreen firing mode operation of other models – just simpler. They also are provided with firmware upgrade capability using Windows home computer integration (via optional DTD link).
In addition, they also come complete with an adjustable, factory-fitted, HUMA-Air regulator, plus the many other features and benefits that these HAM Gold Award-winning platforms are known for.
The existing Daystate Alpha and Delta Wolf models will continue to be available.
As you would expect, these new Smart models will be available soon in the USA from Airguns of Arizona.
