picked up another pumper some time back maybe a month or so
was leaning aginst a post in a old barn get rained on. looked ruff.
the guy let me have it for 50.00 and i was proud to get it. not that i need it mind you i have a few ; )
the stock was bust and it felt like it was full of sand cleaned flush and glude the stock then pin it with small dowls ( i might look for another stock but probly not ).
i migh sand it and oil it not sure.

i think since i have it shooting and holding air and i have the stock stable i migh just shooter as is.
on the fence i like going through and refinshing these but i have a few and this one will make a great beater.

Hard to find these vintage guns at a reasonable price so tell us more when you get to shoot it please. Can't believe the seals weren't dried up and shot. Lol

i dont mind giving 50.00 or 60.00 for these old guns that need work i thinking thats a fair price and the supper nice clean like new guns are verry collectible and worth a good price more then i would pay but i dont think unreasnable.
the one i think are over prived are the avrange run of the mill condition gun that will probably need work or flat out will need work and i see them saling for 175.00 and up. to me thats just nuts.
maybe i should a few of mine to fund a new scope?

Thems tough call..

(1) ...It's already broken , but you fixed it good enough to shoot no real money spent good to go .

(2)... Now you carve on it or whatever and do something you can't really back up again to right or now can't shoot it / whatever.

So your hoping to find another stock that's not going to cost a full guns worth if you even find one in reason to start.. there you sit.

me, too many times I get bright ideas and fall under #2 and regret it ..lol

i thought about just putting together and shooting it, but i have a few of these and plenty of pumers to shoot so theres no hurry.
going to think on it more. plus if i do anything i have to deside on a design as well.
