Break Barrel Beeman R9 .20 Cal Rare?

Yes, this is complex, but here's my understanding...

German (Weihrauch)-manufactured, Beeman-branded air rifles are sold by Pyramyd. I believe that another company actually owns the rights to the name, however.

Chinese-manufactured Beeman-branded products are manufactured by Shanghai Airgun Company. They also own the "Industry Brand" and "Marksman" trade names.

Shanghai Airguns is a legitimate user of the Beeman brand. I can't remember if they are the actual owners and license it out to the other company for use on the German (Weihrauch-manufactured) guns, or if it's the other way round.

All this happened many years ago.

I just received it yesterday via UPS. My German manufactured Beeman R9 in .20 caliber. It's a magnificent, well made pellet rifle. Please check out my pics and thanks for all you do to promote our hobby/sport.

Congratulations!

I have one, and it's a lifetime gun.
Yours is likely better made than mine, as every factory improves their processes over time.

Here's a link to a tour of the Weihrauch factory. Enjoy!

Excellent video, a great watch, even though it was only 240p. Seems to have been filmed in the early 2000s. Hand finished masterpieces.

The r9/hw95 is a great rifle and I own it in all 3 calipers , maybe they make it in 25 also but I haven’t looked as I have no interest in a 25. They are accurate and a nimble rifle for small game hunting. Just a enjoyable rifle to shoot.

The R9/HW95 is amazing accurate. I never had the opportunity to shoot one before and purchased it based on what I read about it. German engineering and manufacturing is probably the best in the world from my experience.

Ahhh . . . But the craftsmanship on my Air Arms TX200 is absolutely stunning. I only own one German rifle, a Weihrauch 97K. Mechanically, the German workmanship is solid. The walnut stock and the blueing on my TX200 is significantly better than on my HW97K. I treasure both rifles equally and shoot them both often. Orv.

Check out the photos of my R9, the stock is incredible, the machining and craftsmanship top shelf. My S410 Classic FAC is also a world class airgun, but the overall win goes to the Germans IMO.
