I havent been out to do any shooting in 4 weeks becose of the very cold temps at my range and now the snow is just to deep to make it up there

Here is a 2, 2shot groups. from 100 yards. the first 2 shot group I had to cover some of the hole 1st shot to see how close I could get. The 2nd one I just used the same aiming point, 308 Texan.

I'm the same way! Lots of ammo except I don't have a longer range i can shoot at.

I understand, some that have a range as I do, 230 yards don't know how lucky they are. I had the land, but I had to clear it, most of it was done by axe and that was ok, love to be in shape because I hunt by myself and then it becomes very important.

I have gotten BARS to make me a custom .300 - 58 grain hybrid boattail slug for my Umarex Gauntlet Gen 2 SL 30 cal by which I got him to make me 100 of. The prototype below. These slugs are designed for very accurate and long range shooting out to and exceed 500 yards. From what I've been able to see on the internet there are no other 58 grain hybrid boattail slugs in .300 / 30 cal in existence other than these. He made each and every one of them with extremely tight tolerance. In fact they all weigh 58 grains on the nose. BARS is a stand up guy dedicated to his craft and very honest. Packaging was very secure and fast delivery. I also picked up 100 of his 78 grain boattail. Picture of the 58 grain Hybrid boattail to the left and the 78 grain boattail to the right. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
