I would guess compromise between efficiency and the economy of sharing between rifles. If it didn’t make a difference everyone would probably just buy the largest available to avoid clipping. The Sonoran in my opinion screams plastic lol. Just my thoughts.

It is plastic, but it is solid! I trust it more than any wood that grows on this planet to stay exactly has it is. Which may not be beautiful, but it's durable, and I don't worry about it, I just shoot with it. If I want to stare at something I'll get some girlie magazines. Seriously Bill, I have used this stock before and it "performs" beautifully. With a SubMOA barrel it would be absolutely stunning to me. Different strokes for different folks I guess, that's why they make both.

Different strokes for different folks I guess, that's why they make both. I really only have one issue with the “plastic stocks” and that is the marketing spin on them. As in “ our super duper all weather composite stock” meaning economy plastic in most cases. I have a Remington Viper .22lr that has the weirdest ‘hollow plastic” twang when it’s fired. @Pumacarl you know I 3d print a lot of plastic add-ons (just printed some pellet holders for the TalonP ) for my guns and so I’m being a bit of a hypocrite lol. In all honesty wood stocks are getting too heavy for me to enjoy. I really like chassis guns.

Bill, the stock on the BRK is of very good quality. I have had one apart and it is an excellent example of how to do a polymer stock right. If you don't like it, you probably won't like any other either, at least that I know of.

Cool gun and good work. Sounds quiet. My DRS Classic needs a lot of mod to make it quiet. Your doesn't seem to need much. I always thought Ronin was a big much on the Crowns and the Wildcat MKIII's, but works well on this one.
