I have started development chassis type stocks for the Airforce line of rifles. Here is a prototype for the Condor. The Texan would have similar lines. The plan would be make them out of aluminum and use Cerakote for finish. The butt would be integral to the rest of the stock. With the location of the trigger and thus the grip, I just do not see using an AR buffer tube and the whole array of stocks for the AR plate form. It would also drop the butt even lower to the bore, which is a bad idea for recoil management and muzzle rise. The chassis would use an AR grip, have an M-Lok panel on the bottom of the forearm. It would fit aluminum and carbon fiber bottles.

How many would what a cheek riser incorporated? I have one designed and tooled and can incorporate it if that is a desired feature.

I finished up prepping all the blocks to be machined. I purchased enough material to make three chassis for this first round. I am thinking 1) Condor, 1) Texan, and 1) Tex Rex but I need to do the design work for it and see if it will fit in raw material I have prepped.

In "The White" shown on a Tex-Rex with the pieces just slip fit together. The butt will have a tapered extension on it with the recoil pad. The butt stock show is actually for a Texan/Condor. The Tex-Rex butt stocks still need the tooling lugs cut off and a little more machining done on them. These parts are due for some hand finishing and fitting for final assembly and Cerakote.

The Three Sisters.....L-R Tex-Rex, Texan, Condor Aluminum Chassis stocks. Assembled and ready to have holes tapped,, be hand finished, media blasted, recoil pads fitted, then Cerakoted.

Slowly getting there.
