Today we’ll look at the Air Venturi new products at the 2025 Pyramyd Cup. Yes, “The Cup” is a shooting competition, but it’s also a trade show, with a lot of new products to be seen for the attendees. Let’s take a look at what Air Venturi has been showing…
For reasons that everyone understands, there’s a number of Chinese-manufactured airgun products that have been announced, but availability has been delayed. But they’re still coming and today I talked to the Air Venturi team about progress.
Below, Cody from Air Venturi showed me the new Air Venturi MicroStrike. HAM readers have read about this before. However the Air Venturi MicroStrike is really getting close and availability should be this year – 2025.
It’s easy to say that the Air Venturi MicroStrike is just a version of the Umarex Notes. But this is not true and the more you look, the clearer this becomes. They are completely different designs manufactured by different factories to an admittedly similar “compact carbine” concept.
This is the first opportunity I have had to handle the MicroStrike. So – of course – I had to shoot it too. First impressions were good. It shown every sign of being an ideal backyard-friendly plinker and pest control tool.
The MicroStrike has an externally-adjustable regulator. Below we can see how this is controlled, by rotating the HPA tube.
There’s also another way in which the MicroStrike is a unique product. Both Cory and myself were equally-excited about this!
As you can see from the photograph below, the MicroStrike is supplied with a complete set of spare O rings. Not only that, but there’s also precise confirmation of the individual sizes and also schematic diagram included with every gun. Fantastic!

As if that was not enough, Scott from Air Venturi showed me the Air Venturi OmniStorm air rifle. This is the gun that has an adjustable gas piston system. It’s a break-barrel that can see set to deliver as much – or little – power as you wish. (Within reason, of course).
The OmniStorm is another of the Air Venturi new products that are sure to create a lot of interest among airgun shooters.
The OmniStorm’s gas ram can be pressurized using this small, simple hand pump.
It’s connected to the gun by means of a “Schrader-type” valve, as Scott demonstrates below. An increase in pressure – and hence power – is achieved by simply pumping-up the hand pump.
The pump can also be used to reduce the gas piston pressure. There’s a bleed valve to do this, as Scott demonstrates below.
But wait, there’s more!
Cory also showed me the new Air Venturi Dragonfly multi-pump air rifle.
The pump mechanism makes it easy and simple to use! Availability will be this year, too.
And – if that were not enough – Cory also showed me the Air Venturi Avenge XL PCP air rifle. This development of the Avenger family will be available next year. But it was great to see it at the 2025 Pyramyd Cup!
Here’s a close-up.
So thanks to Scott and Cory for showing us the Air Venturi new products. Tomorrow, I’ll be concentrating more on the shooting part of the 2025 Pyramyd AIR Cup!
