250Z Aftermarket mags for the barra 250

I think a couple are going to be in order. Does one shoot slugs better than the other?
The QD Fox mags maybe a magnetic snap on cover that works well. I've shot slugs out of them and they work fine. He winds the spring so it's real tight when loading the mag so it cycles quicker. I've shot Impulse Air, H and N, Zan, NSA, and all cycle fine. It would have to be a really long slug not to fit. Big Air Precision makes a slugger mag that will allow longer slugs. Hope this helps!

Dude, this exactly perfection! Thank you so much man!

My buddy double cocked pellets his first time shooting, and it was the last two. So the stock mag hold over kept him from finishing the load.

The tail of the pellet was just in the lip of the mag, so I couldn't extract the mag, and couldn't use the bolt to push them in that last little bit.

I broke the clear cover, rotated the mag with the driver, cleared them down the barrel, and removed the mag. I was really liking the design of the fox mags, for real world situations like that, because it has an open face, you wouldn't break it manually rotating the spring if you had to.

Big air is appealing, because of the shot count, but, could end up in the same dilemma.

That's great to hear qd can do slugs! Again, thanks man!

I have the Big Air and they work great. I'm going to try a Maple Single Shot loader and quit using the single shot tray. Had problems with the Pellets or slugs falling back in to the trigger. They will make them either right-side or left-side
I've been running with the qd for a week now. Personally, I've had zero issues running up to 37 grain slugs. Haven't tried the heavy heaviest ones i have yet, but, I may have pulled a big Gomer pyle and updated a certain cronograph app, and bricked my chronograph. 😅

All is well though, a new one is coming. 😂😂

Update on Barra 250Z, Purchased a single shot loader from Maple Products, for my 250Z, and no more worries about pellets falling back into the trigger. They made mine for righthand use, as I'm a lefty. Also picked one up for my Avenge X. Great product.

Sounds weird, but i actually have zero experience with the single shot tray. Fortunately/unfortunately, mine was missing when it arrived. I've seen several reviews on single shot loaders, but didn't realize they came right or left loading!

I had to request the right-side for the Barra 250Z. Normally they are all Left Side for the Barra 250Z. when shooting a Benchrest match, they help me slow down and read the conditions better. Don't get me wrong, magazines have their place as well. Just not a fan of single shot trays.Single Shot.webp

Dude, that's slick! I could totally see how that would help in slowing down and focusing in on each shot.

That's cool that they do requests for right side loaders!
