Leapers 6x40 golden image scope

I purchased this 6x40 leapers for a pistol or carbine but can't find much info. Does anyone with knowledge know if it's usable in springers? I assume it is as per the brand but I can't find much info.

Never heard of the Golden Image before so I looked it up. Discontinued model, reviews from 15 years ago. So circa 2010 manufacture date.

Reviews are okay, couple negative.

For light weight SFP scopes for my pistol and older light British rifles I like Spina. There are better scopes but you pay for that. $87 (was $72 before tariffs) Spina HD 2-10x32 and under 1lbs.

CVLife and Westhunter are also pretty good quality at the lower end if the price range.

I couldn't complain about 30$ hope it holds zero.

I would phone Leapers. It's very possible that someone there would know. Most of their scopes have had forward recoil bracing - or "True Strength Platform" as they call it - since the beginning. Good luck!
