Me personally, I don't like it. The gun is what the gun is. I don't need something fake to make it look like something it's not.

If the plenum drastically lowers the reg valve in a way that makes it susceptible to bumping or snagging damage, then a small protective cover that still leaves access for an allen key will be perfect.

Yeah it looks cool but for me it’s the added protection over the plenum. My poor baby gets bumped a lot so I’m just thinking about that. Although now that I have the EQ I think I’m gonna move the Zulus over and put some decent glass on the Barra. I’ve decided I’m not gonna go much heavier, 35gr max. Instead I’m just gonna stick to light and very fast. The plenum should let me get a really good shot out of that.

I get what you're saying but I'd rather have something looking like a regular gun product "a magazine" in this case, than something weird like a bare CO2 cylinder, or a beer can hanging down. There have been some god awful ugly plenums done in the past few years and this isn't one of them.

Yeah there’s a few plenums out there where I’m like “the power better be worth it”

I have yet to see the plenum on the gun. So I don't know how far it will extend down. Andrew has one or more 3d printers to make parts. So, if it only comes past the stock a 1/2" I'd like to see something smaller.

I, personally, would not know anything about making gawd awful ugly plenums.

Well, it will make boat anchors jealous when it weighs in. I tested the big one on my Condor and it works. Just need to get up north to the farm and my nephew's friend with the Texan.

To be honest it really does not seem practical. It is a fun idea but you could only really use it off a tripod or bench.

Totally understandable. But for the sheer fun of making something stupid/stupid-cool I totally understand the endeavor. I respect the hell out of haha

Shooting this evening, no wind, got my longest run yet on my furthest target, 8 shots in a row at 198y. Awesome fun. Shooting at 200y with slugs now, is what shooting at 100y with pellets was like about 8 years ago before I started using JSB. Shooting at my 125y target is really easy now, and I've still got 26fpe at this distance, so when a chipmunk showed up in front of the target I got my furthest to date. It's incredible how much noise that pop makes on a quiet windless evening. The only problem with this setup now is that I don't have enough scope. This really bothers me, as I just painted this one, but I can't see the slugs fly too well. I could get on target much quicker in the wind if I had more scope.

That’s pretty cool. How large is your target for 200yds. I wish I could see my pellets/slugs fly.

It is a 5" dura-seal ball. I only see the slugs when the sun is perfect. I am using a 12x SWFA SS from my tripod. Pretty mind blowing what we can do with these things now. It still amazes me.

I bought a fill assembly today for a 23ci 3000psi bottle that I had for my Gauntlet. I am going to use surgical tubing and tie it to one of the legs of my tripod, and after I shoot a magazine I will tether to the tank. I should get over 45 shots total, maybe more, doing this. Using the arcaswiss rail that I mounted to my gun, I can tether while mounted to my tripod, and I had hung my 2.13L bottle off my tripod, but that was a little bit cumbersome. When not on this duty, I will leave it in my truck and tether with my TalonP when I want extra shots. It will be handy to have kicking around.

It is so much fun shooting spinners at 100yds plus in total darkness and watching your projectile fly from muzzle to target impact. It is like watching tracers. I will have to post a video.

Had to take my mom to the ER last night, she thought she broke her thumb. Was just a real bad arthritic flare up. But alas, no shooting... hopefully tonight.

My Barra has me feeling like a rockstar now. Went to a bbq and had people who had never shot an adult airgun making first shot hits at 198y on my 5" hanging duraseal ball and first shot hits on my 2.5" spinner at 123y. I was clicking so there was no holdovers, but still had wind calls. Shooting mostly the JSB KO 20.83gr slug all from my tripod standing. We were all pretty stoked!

I did try the new ZAN 23gr .217 slugs that I bought. Besides their color, I don't see much of a difference. I am going to have to shoot some paper with them and see how they actually group. Somewhere along the way I seem to have lost track, or not taken into account, some of the work that I have done to my gun. The velocity that I am getting now is 950fps, when I always thought they were doing 920-925fps. Maybe the 925 number was from before I reemed my breech, I don't know, but I checked the speed today and it's right at 950fps for the old and new 23gr. I had thought that I lost velocity reeming the breech originally, I'm going to go back and check on that. Either way, it seems to be back.

I love that I don't have to clean the barrel all the time like I have to do shooting Hybrids in my .30, both the JSB and the ZAN's shoot clean.

I had a pretty good laugh at how people didn't even notice there was no air tube until I mentioned it, and then they were like, 'well where is the air coming from?' Really a cool gun that is just powerful enough in .22 to be interesting and entertaining without putting anybody off. A great bbq gun!

It really is! I was happy for them, and pleased as punch with myself, that I could get the gun running well enough for everybody to be able to pull off hero shots, standing, not even benched. I really don't like sitting at a bench.
