After my latest slug testing (reg. adjustments) I attempted to degas the rifle to re-set the reg. back to my pellet tune. The degas screw did not function. It worked as expected on prior attempts. I opened the screw as far as a full turn open and no air flow at all???

I degassed via loosening the gauge and dry fire. Then pulled the optic so I could see down into the degas screw hole. Nothing obvious to see inside the degas port from the top looking down.

I assume the degas hole is plugged with something but I haven't had the rifle apart to understand how the degas port functions.

Can you guys that have had the rifle apart point me in the right direction please?

I'll ask in a less confusing way. If I pull the barrel/air tube assembly will I be able to see the degas port hole from the inside of the block? Is the degas hole drilled forward of the thimble?
