The 2025 Pyramyd Cup official schedule has now been announced. Plus there’s more news. The Benchrest competition has been enlarged to accommodate additional competitors!

Wednesday, September 17th​

12PM-5PM – Registration and Benchrest Bench Selection*

12PM-5PM – Practice Ranges Open/Sight-In

*Note. The first two groups for Benchrest will be for competitors participating in both Benchrest AND Field Target.

Thursday, September 18th​

7:30AM-8:30AM – Practice Ranges Open

9AM-9:15AM – Benchrest Safety Meeting

9:15AM – Benchrest Competition (1st Card Qualifying Rounds)

Group 1 shoots at 9:15AM – 9:40AM (card 1)

Group 2 shoots at 10:05AM – 10:30AM (card 1)

Group 3 shoots at 10:55AM – 11:20AM (card 1)

Group 4 shoots at 11:45AM – 12:10PM (card 1)

– Main Range Closed Until 1:15PM –

1:00 PM – Gunslynger Safety Meeting

1:15PM – Gunslynger Begins

Gunslynger Shooting Order:

1) Springer
. Note, will be shot to completion before the Mag-Fed PCP division begins.

2) Mag-Fed PCP.

8:45AM – Benchrest Competition (2nd Card Qualifying Rounds)

Group 1 shoots at 8:45AM – 9:10AM (card 2)

Group 2 shoots at 9:35AM – 10:00AM (card 2)

Group 3 shoots at 10:25AM – 10:50AM (card 2)

Group 4 shoots at 11:15AM – 11:40PM (card 2)

10:45AM – Field Target Safety Meeting at Field Target Range

11AM – Field Target Day 1

Saturday, September 20th​

7:30AM-8AM – Practice Ranges Open

8:15AM – Benchrest Finals Safety Meeting

8:30AM – 8:55AM – Benchrest Finals – Card 1

9:20AM – 9:45AM – Benchrest Finals – Card 2

10:15AM – Field Target Safety Meeting and Competition (2nd round)


If shoot-offs are needed, they will be held at the main range following the conclusion of the FT event scoring.

5PM-5:45PM – Benchrest Finalist Protest Period.

6PM – Shooters Banquet at Main Range

Its too bad for me would love to go but the schedule for me is a bit busy and with the cost of the event, 4 days lodging and travel i can stay home and ive paid for my new ghost ! Oh well

One of these years soon, I’ll bite the bullet and invest both the time and money to attend and compete. This year is not the time for this guy however. For me, a small camper to stay in will make it more enjoyable to be nestled among the fellow shooters in the evening, enjoying the off time. Maybe ‘26

I really need to get my FT skills roughly polished. Not to win necessarily but to have a better showing than my first ever.

I mean last place is still a place but I’d rather not be there. I’ve got a very capable rifle now, so it deserves to be shot by me being more competent.

Bench? I’m decent enough to do well with some more practice and tuning. Could I win with my M3 .25? Absolutely. Everyone has an off day. If I don’t shoot I can’t possibly win. But if I try, ya never know.

I attended the first NAC and I really enjoyed that, but it was my first ever Airgun competition. I still have fond memories of it and don’t regret it a bit. When I go to PA CUP I will be much better prepared for the entire experience. I did well at NAC…. Making Finals in Sportsman BR, actually qualifying 1st on card 1 and 2nd on card 2 I think. Anyway finals day it kind of fell apart for me. I thought I had done better by my card but the results said 11th place. I was still happy and left feeling really good about the whole experience. It was there that I realized I’m not a PRS guy, it’s just not my thing and I did not prepare even a little bit for it. In fact I was slinging 33.95 pellets in a sea of slugs, using hold over/under because I was shooting my bench gun in that comp.

My wife wants us to go to this event. I thought about giving it a shot - pun intended. But, I’ve never competed in anything like this and wouldn’t think it a great idea lol. Maybe we will go and spectate.

Field target is a lot of fun i think if you have a 177. So is bench. If your going to go id sign up for bench if there’s a spot open. Its definitely worth a trip at least once

It is one of the nicest FT courses I have shot. Right up there with the Cajuns for scenery. This year I will be shooting all 3 events....What could go wrong shooting my springer in speed

As much as I’d like to, I don’t think FT is an option for me right now. Bench rest might even be a push, hence my hesitation. My wife is pushing me to go to the “cup” or some other big event because airgunning has earned a special spot in our home over the last nine months. I have a big surgery on Tuesday and going to the match would be the recovery goal/reward. Sounds crazy, but maybe I’ll explain it in a separate post. Kind of explains why “Freud” might be a good name for one of my rifles. I figure between the titanium plate and carbon fiber cage holding my neck together and the surgery, shooting from a bucket may be difficult right now lol. I know TMI.
