Others 1720T with reg tuning

I put a huma regulator along with a light weight hammer in my 1720T pistol. For some reason my first 10 shots are about 15-20 fps slower than the rest of the string. Any recommendations on how to flatten that out?

Have you tried adding a little bit of hammer energy? I would add 1/2 turn to the hammer adjuster and test it. Does it have a striker? If so, you could try adjusting that as well.

I’ve done both with no luck. I contacted Huma and they are sending me a new regulator. Hopefully it was just a bad one. I’ll add an update once I get the new one in. Thanks for the reply!
