She’s shooting pretty hot for pellets. 950 ish for 18 gr pellets. I opened up the back to see about letting off the hammer spring and found that it’s out to flush and cannot be decreased due to the rear cover. So it appears I’ll have to change the regulator to decrease the speed. That, according to the directions, requires removing the tube.

I’m not planning on shooting slugs. So I think I could save some air and may tighten the groups up a little with a lower reg pressure. This is all YouTube “knowledge “ so if y’all have recommendations that would be welcome.

Zelos took her first birds today! I shot her as is.

This is the first gun of this style I have shot. The way I tend to support it has highlighted a “hot spot” where the grip and trigger guard meet. The top of my middle finger is sore from the trigger guard being pronounced beyond the grip. An issue partly from design and partly from my hands anatomy.
I removed the grip and analyzed for a solution. For now I filed a corner of the guard and clamped a leather strap over it with the grip.

Great fix Beanflip! I've got the Snowpeak M60B 22 which is basically the same gun and also added padding to stop the soreness that occurs when you shoot a lot. I also loosened the canted trigger screw and turned it at more of an angle and that helped a bunch too. At least the rifle is mostly metal or aluminum but they could have smoothed these areas out by rounding the edges so they are not so sharp on your hands while shooting. I'm enjoying the rifle a lot especially the smooth no resistance side lever setup! Mine is the bottle gun version with aluminum cylinder so it's a little heavier. I've ran about a thousand pellets thru mine so it's regulator is finally getting more consistent for accurate shots. So far it only likes about 3 brands of pellets accuracy wise in 18 grain. The JSB Exacts, the Air Arms Diabolo, and the JTS Dead Centers. No leaks of any kind have developed and it's working well so far, hope your's keeps working well too!

I decided to tackle lowering the reg tonight. I was initially intimidated by it but so far so good. A pretty simple process.

880 is working good for me with the JSBs and 140 bar on reg. You have to degas the gun before you lower the pressure or damage to your regulator will happen. It's ok to increase pressure with air in it but not ok to lower it without completely degassing the rifle. Hope this helps!

The reg adjustment directions were actually wrong. CCW was said to be reducing the pressure but it actually increased it.

Mine was shooting at 980 when I received it. Regulator was set at 160 bar and hammer spring was screwed in way to far! So after an hour and a half of regulator adjustments, degassing, refilling the bottle, hammer spring adjustments, a thorough barrel cleaning, I finally got it settled in where it would shoot good groups. What a rifle!

I also got a second 20 round magazine when I bought it. Then ordered a Maple products magazine and they are only 16 shots. But they are so easy to load! Forgot to tell you that man.

Hey Beanflip, I had to lighten this bad boy up as with the thicker aluminum bottle on it it's just too heavy. So I ordered a 7L carbon fiber bottle from Amazon today and it should be here Thursday. The first fill is going to take a while but besides being lighter it should give me I hope a hundred shots per fill which is nice!

Won't consist of me, heck I still haven't received more of the Nitrogen cartridges for the Komplete. About to just order some so I can continue my review on my own. Would love to be in the loop with new Umarex products but I get the impression they just aren't that interested in my field reviews. Can you tell I'm bitter? Lol

I guess I seen that a coming .. maybe time to just convert to hpa .. lol. The ol gimmick gun .. lol
