Mine sat for 6 months and started right up. Make sure the water is circulating before starting the pump. If it isn't, pull the return hose and apply some vacume to suck the air out. These are very quiet which is a requirement where I live. Only problem is an occasional burst disc. I hear these...
There is complaint about the trigger pull weight. Mine has a heavy smooth pull thru 95% of it's movement, then a positive consistent break point is reached. A little more pressure and it breaks cleanly with minimal over travel. Aim, pull to break point, steady aim, shoot. Attempting to shoot it...
I've and Air Venturi target trap, balistic putty with steel plate. Around 20' away from my recliner. Low power .177 with alloy pellets. The low power guns will not penetrate 1/2 inch drywall, don't ask how I know.
I use the pb free so my living room doesn't become contaminated with lead. I have a range set up and shoot from my lazy boy while gaining inspiration from watching YouTube
I've noticed alloy pellets work very well in low power guns. I shoot indoors in the winter, aloy pellets and co2 guns, low power springers like the Diana two forty, and pumpers with only 3 or 4 pumps is ideal.
Sorry, I have no answer to your question. The information can be helpful in understanding trajectory, that is essentially what you are investigating. PS I did state at the outset that this is not an answer to your question. It isn't a different concept, just more facts regarding the physics of...
Bullet drop is a function of gravitational acceleration of a falling mass and time of flight to termination. The mass of the bullet is of no consequence as gravitational acceleration is the same regardless of mass (weight). A 40gr .22lr at 1000fps during a .25 second flight will drop the same as...
I use an expensive molecular sieve filter down stream from a high pressure air oil separator on my Omega Air Charger. I'm in Vermont, it's humid here 75% if the time. The filter was around $400.-, it will last forever. Divide that by a dozen guns and many years of trouble free air, the cost is...
Hi folks, I recently bought a Jet2 177 on sale from Midway. It was pellet/pressure sensitive. After shooting 500 shots testing pellets and pressures it would shoot fliers even with the best pellet/pressure combination. Upon examination the muzzle crown was rough with tooling marks, a step may...
After shooting this rig for a couple thousand rounds now, I have learned alot. The pressure curve is severe on these. An excellent way to learn how to manage an unregulated gun. I 1st was shooting with no more than 120bar, indoors 5m. I added a silencer and it shot the MiesterKlugen 7gr well...
My new Jet2 .177 is wearing a 4-12 BugBuster. It shoots MiesterKlugen very accurately. It unfortunately does not shoot CHP's, well. It seems to me .177 is a fussier caliber for pellet/gun choice than 22's.
