EBR 2026 is over, but there’s time to take one last, lingering look at this premier event in the international airgunners’ calendar.
Our heading photo above shows Caleb Dickenson just moments after he won the Speed Silhouette Pro Class. I feel it captures something of the excitement and enjoyment that was felt by so many shooters at this outstanding event…
Below, if you enjoyed the event, thank this man. Greg Glover is the General Manager at Airguns of Arizona. Together with Lauren Parsons, he is the organizational powerhouse behind making Extreme Benchrest the success it is. Thanks, Greg, from all of us!
The Extreme Benchrest “triumphal arch” is a feature of the event every year. It celebrates the companies that support, or otherwise sponsor the event for our benefit.
Below. Everyone gathers round to watch the Speed Silhouette competitions.
While Daystate was showing an impressive range of airguns in the “Daystate lounge” at the range.
Below. Team AoA is unsurpassed at replacing the target faces after every round. They are sooo professional! That contributes immensely to the enviable reputation the entire Extreme Benchrest event has for running “on time”.
And so to the winners! Here we see the moment when the winners of the headline 100-Yard Extreme Benchrest received their prizes. Pro Class winner Mario Contreras is in the middle of the rear punching the air. He had every right to be pleased with a score of 450 with 6X, two points clear of second-place Luke Sowinski.
Below. Just a small section of the post-event banquet. As you can tell, it was packed with attendees having a great time!
Oh yes, this was how we all knew we had come to the right place. Just turn left at the big Saguaro cactus…
Below Monte Shosted looks pleased with himself. Did someone mention his company Monster Airguns?
Below. Hawke VP of Sales and top man in the USA Kevin Sheehan is a committed airgunner. He was keenly watching the 100 Yard benchrest finals. I hope that was a Hawke spotting scope he was using…
Below. Javel Kolebač, JSB’s top man, was also at the shoot, having traveled all the way from the Czech Republic. Pavel is the handsome guy on the right, but who is that on the left?
Finally, everyone rushed downrange to see the targets and check their scores at the conclusion of each event. Yip, they were all excited!
Well, that’s if from EBR 2026. See you again next year!!!
