What did you buy/receive today?

My friend down here where I'm traveling is getting a break barrel from me, soooo since I "sold" a rifle I planned on buying another one. I was just Trying to apply the discount on PINTY web site(in the cart it linked to "shop" app) the buy now button is just below the discount spot and I accidentally (it really was an accident) touched the buy it now. The vehicle going over a bump made it happen....now I didn't get the 15% coupon as it wouldn't let me and now I have a Pinty Buster .22 paid on pre-order 🤷. I really only wanted it w the discount.
All’s well that ends well!!!

I have been saving some of my Cabela's gift cards, and finally bought a Tricer HK Tripod, which arrived today, now going to order the the AK ball head next couple weeks.
Sweet! I cheaped out a bit and bought the “death grip” but it works really well and makes Whacking rats a whole bunch more accurate.
Does your new one have the trigger to release and lock?

I would definitely reach out and ask. If necessary, can try my name to see if it helps. Worst case they say no and you are same boat. Best case, you get your 15% off.

Four and a half months later, it’s finally here. Now I have to find a pub that will allow me to start an indoor 6/7yd bell target league lol. Maybe this will regenerate my motivation. The middle grandson is here and so we will try it out in a little while with his pumper. I do have some thoughts/ideas to share with the community later on. View attachment 20061View attachment 20062
Oh man!, that's like buying a kid a drum set, the ringing in my ears is bad enough as it is. Have fun with that, I'm out. I like the old saying, kids should be seen and not heard, that is until you actually hear nothing, then you know something is up. lol

I set it at 24yds with the 1/2” hole. It s not that loud and with a 15mph+ crosswind, the bell has only been heard once so far lol. I’ve had tinnitus for so long now, it’s just annoying pink noise now lol. IMG_6568.webpIMG_6569.webp

The Bell target was so popular that it left the building. I guess, I’ll be ordering another one.

Grandkids lol.
Yeah it was fun having him for half of spring break. I had to grin and bear it when he said: “You know why I like my air rifle (Daisy 880) better than your rifle (BRK Sonoran), well actually all of your air rifles. I don’t have to wait to fill mine.” I have to admit having never owned or fired a pumper before he got his for Christmas, I think I want one. But maybe a Blue Streak. The bell target is a lot of fun. I wonder if it could handle a .30 at 100 yards? 👹👺

Everyone needs a pumper in their life.

I bet he had a lot of fun, would probably make his day if he thought he was right and grandpa had to have a pumper too 🙂.

I imagine if you shot the bell target with the Sonoran it would be a one and done deal, but I’d be glad to discuss your actual findings 😜.

You’re the king of pumpers on here, what’s the one must have pumper .20 or less?
That is going to depend on what you want from it.

Classic/iconic would be a Blue Streak or Benji 3x7(317, 347, or 397). In their natural form no optics, just factory irons. You can get an intermount kit though to be able to install optics.

My favorite so far of the new/current production is the Crosman Vapor Max. I have had excellent accuracy out of it out to 90+ yards. But the optics rail is poorly designed and makes clamping onto the dovetail securely difficult. The composite stock has some design flaws, and weak where it meets the receiver (my original showed up new and broken). I am seriously considering using this gun as my HFT rifle.

I was going to buy a Vapormax until I saw a lot of “dead in the box” reviews. I would like a Sheridan or a Benjamin only for the reason that I remember the ads for them in the 79)s and I love nostalgia and Americana. I had “foolish” idea that I might find a cheap used one to rebuild - 🤣
The Vapor Max might be a good 3D printing project. I’ll take a look. Thanks
