Walking around looking at things with wife/doing some Xmas shopping for kids and ended up in Wal-Mart sporting goods. So I showed her the Red Ryder Christmas Wish with the compass in the stock and this thing which tells time.

She told me "You'll shoot your eye out kid."

Yes you are right about that, nightmares.

I purchased one for automotive use years ago that typically gave me bad news. Here is an image of a lifter that I found intermittently spinning that did a fine job of reprofiling my camshaft along with other damage, $15k poof gone.

Airguns are a much more cost effective hobby than racing .

Received the replacement tail plug that I ordered for my hatsan 135 spring conversion. They sent the wrong one again. They keep sending me ones for the 125 which is 29mm in diameter instead of 30mm for the 135.

Wound up paying just over 15 bucks (mostly shipping). Came out to about .008 cents a pellet.

Wednesday night I sent the request, thanksgiving was obviously closed, before noon today they replied with my credit back. Great customer service.

Started the day with no intention of leaving the house. Well local gun shop was doing doorbuster deal of free bb gun for first 20 kids accompanied by an adult, so my boys and I headed over. Older boy got a free marlin bb gun to match dad and grandpa, bought earpro for the 2yo.

Since the free temporary bullseye bucks hit the account, I've been debating a use for them. I had just about convinced myself I was going to do 8 tins of Norma when the gun maintenance bug bit. After a lot of back and forth ideas, ended on patchworm field kit with 4 "free" tins of Norma pellets using my accrued bullseye. A most excellent compromise I think, without getting me in trouble with the misses for buying my own Christmas gifts.

Heard they are as good as my favorite CVLife BearSwift 5-25x56.

Arrived in the middle of our neighborhood post Thanksgiving crab and fondue feed. Which included $275 in 2016 Pinot Noir, $120 in Irish Whiskey, over $100 in Bourbon, Tequila (no clue about price but seriously tasty). So I'll mount it today and retire another old 3-9x44 AO.
