Do You Own a Microstrike, Notos, BRK Pathfinder, Ranger or Atomic?

The Notos has a cult following. With the Microstrike, I’ve had Hades .22 well over 800fps, but with a very small 11-12 shot count. It definitely has a lot of potential. I’ve turned it back down to around 750fps. I’m having a lot of difficulty with the magazines and the single shot tray. But, that could be me.
Could very well be the factory mags too Bill. The factory mags for my Notos weren't an easy fit at all at first, where the Maple mags just smooth as glass. I also bought on of the flip open single shot trays. It puts any other styles to shame. Arthritic fingers will love it. Makes single loading a breeze.

I only have a Notos and all I've done to it is adjust the trigger, install a cheap 3-9 X 32 scope and buy some Maple 10 round mags. Mostly I plink in the 10 to 20 yd. range with CPHP's running at 770 fps. Rats at 10 yards when I can catch up with them and starlings at 20 in the walnut tree constitute my pesting endeavors. No leaks and zero problems save for the factory mag. Accuracy wise, it's more accurate than I am and has just been a pleasure to use.

Thanks, I know you’re a top level marksman, but it shows what the short barrel BRK is capable of. I don’t believe the .22 Microstrike is capable of that kind of accuracy (yet). It’s not that I think a $400 pistol carbine should be as accurate as a $1600 pistol carbine. It’s more about what a short barrel, sub-20fpe carbine is capable of. Based upon your results and those of @Luis Leon it would be reasonable to say that an average user of an airgun with 10-12’ barrel should be able to shoot a 1-1.5” group at 40yds and a 2-3’ group at 75yds from a rest.

I am just a regular guy shooting airguns 🎯 🙃:)

I own a Ghost and the Sonoran and I like BRK and so the Pathfinder is very appealing. What kind of groups do you get at 40-50yds?
I've only taken it out to 35 on paper. 1 hole about the size of your pinky nail. Sorry I didnt measure. I sighted in and got my ballistics setup and that was the only time I've shot paper with it. I shot a chipmunk in the head from 45 yards using the ballistics on the dnt so seems to be doing alright. At minimum hunting accurate on chipmunks at 50 yards which is my max intended use range.

Do you own any of these pistols or carbines? If you do I would love to hear about what you have? What do you use it for and how does it fit into your airgunning? How does it perform? What are its high and low points. What’s it’s optimum range? Not its greatest range, but what is the ideal distance for your airgun to get the job done? What do you shoot with it? Is it adequate for the intended use, straight from the box or does it require substantial modification? I’m trying to get a full grasp on what airgunners really use these carbines and stocked pistols for and how they use them. View attachment 17369
I like that filling station/stand ! I have the compressor on a half step platform to keep it off the floor but have to set my guns on either a bipod or a work trunk to attach hoses for filling . Did you design/build that yourself with plywood ? I'm not much on woodworking ,but I got "people".

I did, I have a 24”x48” CNC router that I used. It could easily be made with a table saw and a jigsaw or trim router. I used 3/4” plywood from Home Depot. I would say that you could even have them cut it for you: but their panel saw blades are terrible and tear the edges up.

I have a Brocock Atomic XR that I use for Hunter Field Target Pistol and as a carbine for shooting sparrows and starlings on my wife's families farm. I also use it for plinking with the grand kids and having shooting competitions. I worked on - polished, the trigger sears, cut spring length, and finally got it down to 15 oz. I can live with that, but before I was losing points/shots at Hunter Field Target Pistol marches. It is bullet proof, shoots lights out with JSB 10.34 and QYS 9.56, but the QYS drift more in the wind. It is set to 11.5 ft-lbs at 710 fps.
