What did you buy/receive today?

Maybe I'll finally start torqueing my scope rings?View attachment 12653
I used mine last week for the first time, and I've got to tell you, doing it to spec just doesn't seem tight enough to me. I did do it right though and I am going to see if they actually hold. It's just hard to stop turning when you know that there is a little more left that you could turn. It is a very nice set of tools, quality.

Got a few goodies from Canada Shooting Supply today. Can you ever have enough 8.44gr (4.52) .177 pellets for your med power springers?.... No I think not!😂
Absolutely loving these 100pack paper targets too. You can see your impacts better @ distance vs the black center AV versions...and for some reason the 10ring is a fair amount bigger which makes me feel better about myself and my groups😏. I felt like a squirrel in hibernation mode all winter. Didn't touch any of my guns practically, but stocked up on Ammo, targets, fittings, parts, and a compressor with filtration to match (opening up the ability to service my pcps myself now when needed)....c'mon nice weather! 🙏

I am leary of mine as it leaves the screws too loose after it clicks. Gonna take some getting used to! I think Pumacarl is having the same results with his.
I have heard people say this too, but I wonder , is it with brand new rings? also what brand are the rings? etc... theres a lot of variables. I know that for instance the Valdada Kong rings have a torque spec, but most people that torque to that spec have had issues with stripping. Who knows? Hopefully I don't have any issues with mine.

Mine doesn't click. I turn it until it gets to the inch pounds I want and see marked, on the side of it. But yeah, feels like the rings should get more, but I am thinking about springers and .300WIN I guess.

I am using the Discovery Optics 7075 precision milled rings that state the inch pounds right on them. I'll see how it goes.

Huma air has shipped the other gauge cover I ordered and didn't receive with my shipment for my 28mm Wika gauges, but I thought I'd try some Sekhmet C.F. ones out as well, ordered directly from Sekhmet. We'll they showed up today....you'll notice the one on the right is clearly a 25mm....🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I literally can't win here. I'll email them tomorrow. At least the bag it came in is right 😟
It matches perfectly with the CF shroud, and for anyone wondering, they fit the Wika gauges no problem, if not a bit loose. A bit of electrical tape in-between will solve that. 👌

Here are a few I purchased in the last few weeks.
FX Crown MKII .177cal brand new old stock. My Favorite stock, especially over the new heavy King versions.
FX Wildcat MKIII .25cal, which is my favorite of all my FX airguns. Still under warranty. Great shooter.
FX DRS Classic 600mm 22cal Brane new on sale. $300 off. Great deal

That is quite a haul! Looks like you'll be busy for a while. Nice variety too. It is a great time to be into airgunning.

If you're shooting pests, and don't want pass throughs, the new JSB KO MK3 10.03gr .177, is my new favorite slug.

I don't have to mention to have fun, just pace yourself! 😄

Got my hands on some of the new H&N precision slugs to add to my collection for when I get a ghost slug barrel....I'm incurable lol🥴! I believe they are available only in 33 grain at the moment and in .22. The FTTs in .177 are also excellent (and quite a bit cheaper than 500 Jsb 8.44gr tins). I rounded it out with a 50hr service kit for the Hill compressor. Nowhere nears needing it but I like to be prepared when the day comes.

I got some H&N 33grains 22cal slugs the other day. I was going to try them out this weekend, but it's going to rain. Looking forward to see if they are accurate.
