Marauder Latest project, replaced OEM stock with Boyd Thumb hole stock

I replaced my original MROD stock with a Boyd Thumb hole stock. I am going to have to add comb elevation to achieve eye alignment and I have the material. I really like the thumb hole stocks on my HW100 and HW110. See below before and after.
Is anyone disappointed again at another year of Benjamin putting out virtually nothing new or innovative. No new rifles (pcps), no significant or non significant changes to there semi auto marauder or armada rifles, no real factory upgrades? Hard to get excited about a company putting out virtually nothing new for the 2nd/3rd year straight.

It's not going to get better with Gamo in the picture now.

Welcome to the HAM forum. Glad to have you here!

That is bad news for American made air guns. The key words are venture capitalist. These companies were not bought up to improve the product or the service but rather to enhance their capital value. IMO they are cobbling these companies together tp sell as a unit to another venture capital group (for a profit) are they will start selling them off one brand at a time. I would think the latter is the least favorable option. We have probably seen the best of these companies. I will admit to being somewhat jaded have been involved with business deals like these. Abeit, a much smaller operation and my roll was minuscule but I was able to see the plan. FN saved Browning and to a lesser degree Winchester. Ruger saved Marlin. But, their motivation was different from venture capitalist.
This is just my opinion.

Agree with everything you said. And Ruger did the Marlin name a big favor because the work they did on that lever action made it a better gun than Marlin ever made. I wish every takeover and aquisition went like that did!
not intended to derail but I have to say I have been drooling over the new lever action guns from the Ruger / marlin offering ; 0

That's never a good sign.
