Thanks guys! The S510 did weasel it's ways in there too though...he's selfish that way. As good as it is, it was "too easy" to shoot and be accurate so I got the TX for more of a challenge. I sure wouldn't say no to a nice Beeman R7 or HW 97/HW90 down the road. Up here one dealer sells alot of the AA guns, and the other HW guns. I don't think Springers are dead, just advancements are and therefore pcps in the spotlight. Myself? I see nothing wrong with spring guns as they stand now. Oh and keep your magnum springers, I don't want any part of em!

Hey! I come to Ham to escape that dude...he knows he's getting booted next year so he's grasping at straws for attention. Dancing on the graves of mass shooting victims (that happened 35 years ago) is pretty lame too....No one is giving him any guns. Even banned some .22LR stuff... It's beyond laughable. Says he's gonna truck em to Ukraine. Oh wait....that would be communism. We have magnum springers here, I shoot 2 Diana 350's they are pcp level powerful in .177 but violent! Shake the sights and stock screws loose, murder scopes, slide rings right off, etc. Give me a nice calm 700-950 fps with a med weight pellet out of a good springer and I'm happy all day.

Springers dead? Maybe in the USA where we aren’t limited to a ridiculous sub 12 FPE. In those castrated markets springers can still hold their own. That said, though I love my BRK PCPs, my Beeman R7 and HWK77 aren’t going anywhere soon. May have to uncork them soon to contrast againt my current PCP goodness…

I highly recommend the hw 90 or a rx2. Get a pump from best fittings and you will be set. Really like the shot cycle on the rammers.

Unless you're drowning, weight is good. Balance it right, and the gun just stays on target.

The invasion of plastic has hurt the market as well. I understand that it is a vehicle that allows a manufacturer to hit a price point, but it creates a soulless contraption that will fail to create a lasting relationship with its owner.

They will never have the same life as wood stocks, but they do have greater utility.

I reserve "soulless" for PCP's, though that's 80% done to pull the collective leg of the PCP crowd. Which includes me now I suppose, so maybe I should walk that back a little...

iirc the 54 and the 56 only differ in the stock design. The barrel is not cut down.

3 of my last 4 airgun purchases have been springers. The other one was a 1978 Sheridan that I couldn't pass up. Don't count the springers out. They're simple to use airguns.
