@FL22 my son, I am here for you, Lol...The answer to this question? You already own one!! Athlon buddy all the way! Get the Midas Tac in 24X Zero regrets. All I ever heard was "Its a 1k scope for almost half the money" yeah yeah I'll believe it when I see it. Well....I've seen it!!! Looking through my 16X Midas is like looking at something with your eyes....except of course @ 16X!! Clicks are as good as my Helix, glass is far better. Sadly yeah it comes with ZERO accessories but I can live with that

Anytime man But don't overlook the Midas!!! You want a scope that is good on max mag for long range targets indeed. Check out the review vid from Epik Arms on the M.T. FFP 6-24×50. Between all the guys here on Ham that swear by em (@pan60, @Franklink, @Pesty3782) and probably others I was convinced. You won't find a bad word about em. Oh and lifetime warranty! (They have a 56mm bell version as well)

Well, I’m sending it back.

The bad,

The image dispersion, even at lower magnification is horrendous.

I tried to set the scope as close to 24x as possible given the numbers on the magnification wheel but my Athlon @ 24x does not show you a heat wave.

The very small eye box, I guess that just goes with the territory.

I can barely hear or feel the turret clicks.

Sell price for it varies wildly.

The good,

Comes with lots of goodies, and the included scope rings are very solid.

Turrets are large and have a zero stop function.

The additional parallax wheel fits great, better than UTG’s wheel for their scopes.

The machine work, fit and finish aspect of the scope is great.

This whole adventure has been quite the education for me. I understand now why these types of scopes are so expensive.

So the best thing for me is to avoid them altogether .

Ya, it's tough . Especially a springer I busted a few nice scopes and had one or 2 actually hold up well .. right now I can only go with athlon Talos 3/12 mildot nothing fancy just works and ( knock on wood) yet to bust one on even gamo use .. lol anyway just another reason I prefer irons ..

The left here like Biden and his destroy America cronies was pushing that ghost gun and silencer laws ( trying to advance the silencer and ban/ outlaw Ghost guns).

And funny here in his last gasp to push this we had s ghost gun and silencer shooting that's making big national news all of a sudden to help sway public opinion as usual to get that knee jerk reaction to pass that with executive order before he's out ... .
