Can't beat Carm or Maple mags! Both top quality and work flawlessly.

I've got the Maple mega 15 shot mags for my Notos. It's nice to shoot with no mag frustration and you can just enjoy your day of shooting. The one mag that came with it wouldn't work and I threw it out I was so frustrated!

Plastic mags... guys, you do know it's 2023, not 1923? If plastic mags are now tough enough to survive Marines in firefights, they'll survive us going after pests and small game.

Yeah, and I bought two extra stock mags, too. Kept having jams, feeding multiple pellets cuz I kept cocking the lever with the stock mags lol these companies have to start making better mags. I have come across some very nice stock mags. The Gamo Coyote mags are amazing, but very expensive. The Beeman Commander mags are very nice and my new Niksan Ozark TS mags are incredible.

Yeah I do like the availability of economical CARM magazines. I’ve bought 4 of them for my Evol and they run smooth as butter. I have had issues with my factory Evol magazines but I have no doubt they will outlive the CARM mags. Plastic just degrades over time. By the time our grandchildren are digging our airguns out of dusty attics and try to use them, many of the plastic pieces are going to be brittle and easily broken.
In my opinion AGT makes some of the best magazines out there. If I could convert my Evol to use them it would be awesome. Easiest magazine you’ll ever load and well built.

Most of these new 3D printed parts are glass filled nylon. You're thinking of 1970s plastic lol

I have a Dar gen 3 and their metal mags are also top notch and trouble free.

Absolutely love it, great gun and shooter. Topped it with a Vortex scope and some WestHunter rings, a bipod and a DonnyFL Tanto.

I don't like plastic magazines either. I have become spoiled by the BRK/Daystate, Evol, and Western Airguns magazines. I do think additive manufactured magazines are a step up from the PLA cast mags, much better actually. Orion, Stud, and Midwest Elite are the three best manufacturers of 3d printed mags that I have seen. But as for OEM mags, the BRK/Daystate mags are the best on the market IMO. Back to the subject, the aluminum mags are expensive but they won't ever break/crack if you drop them. I've had numerous plastic magazines break and it's always a bummer when it happens. The Marauder mags at least are affordable around $12-15 if my memory serves me well, but if a company is charging $70 for plastic I would rather buy an aluminum one for a couple bucks more.

The good thing is we have a little bit of everything on the market, so we can vote with our wallets whichever way we want manufacturers to bend.

I think he was referring to this line. Not a challenge. I haven't seen an aluminum magazine break yet outside a spring needing to be replaced. I've personally had many plastic mags fail. But I think there is a space for both, and certainly space for both in the bin if you want to destroy something just for the fun of it.

Yes, that's what I was referring to! It seems like whenever someone says something hasn't happened, you get guys showing pictures of how they managed to do it.

I'm sure someone has broken one by driving over it or something, but it would be pretty hard to break an aluminum mag or a titanium one. Vs plastic? I don't think that is a controversial statement but then again, I have had a lot of people tell me they think plastic is better over the years. Different strokes for different folks.

Out of all the plastic mags I've seen, the Crosman-Benjamin ones I believe are the best in function. The amazing thing about that too is that they are appropriately priced.

I'm known to be able to f-up a steel brick with a rubber mallet so I could of been up for that challenge..
