Break Barrel Weihrauch HW30s vs HW50s what, if any differences?

All 4 of my air rifles are PCPs and I decided to buy a quality light wt air rifle with iron sights. The primary reason is to teach my grandson and grand-daughter how to shoot. I think that a good quality break barrel would be the best rifle for this job. I have 2 Weihrauch HW100 abd HW110 and like the quality of their workmanship. Although not new to shooting I am fairly new to air gunning. I would appreciate from members on this forum.

I am not an expert but the HW30 is a bit lighter in weight and power, shorter in length, and requires less cocking effort. I am thinking the HW30 is going to be a better fit for schooling the yutes with; both rifles should be similar in build quality.

The deeper/darker the stippling should be your clue to the higher number

I took both my HW30 and HW50 to a youth camp week about 12 years ago. I had the girls shoot the HW30 and the boys shoot the HW50S competing against each other. The girls won, by way of the HW30 being easier to shoot accurately, especially for beginners.

The simply is not a more accurate better engineered. Enjoy to shoot break well the HW 30 for a young shooter. Or for that matter for older shooters or heck any shooter lol. I’ve had several combinations of them with different stocks, different sites and different scopes all have proven to be extremely accurate Easy to cock and fun to use. At 76ers old I’ve had more than a few brick barrels passed through my hands. Nothing comes close to the ease of operation and accuracy of the HW 30.

One of the big differences between the HW30 and the HW50 is that the HW50's cocking effort is over twice as much and a very noticeable difference.
