Sighting in talon ss with 18 inch barrel

So the talon has a 2.5 inch over bore dove tail .added a pictary rail and a 6x24x50mm scope to it .the issue is the scope maxes out before the pellet even on paper .is there a airforce secret that no one share to sight this in .as it is its just a paper weight till you can aim it any tips or tricks would be helpful and yes i put low riser scope rings on it to bring down the heigth over bore issue im having .please help before this talon becomes scrap metal sirforce wont help me they ignore my emails and texts

Cvlife scope a cv life lowcrise rings and shimmed in the back still maxs out before pellets hit paper .justvwondering is there so special type of rings or scope to get cause as itbsits my 300 dollar air venturi alpha has this beat .it sights in .

Cvlife the maker and cvlife arevthe low rise rings .it dont matter name brand a scope works the same way .

I use Discovery and Hawke scopes on mine. The CV life scope may not have enough adjustment. But there are scope rails that have some slope built into them and scope rings that are adjustable. The highest magnification scopes sometimes have less adjustment. I don't use anything over 16x. 44mm. I suspect that your scope being 24x with a 50mm objective is your problem and that something like a 16x with a 44mm objective would work fine.

I have never had a problem with the Airforce platform using scopes that are made for hunting.
