PCP RTI P-3 Performance .22 Range Review

This video is a range review of the RTI P-3 Performance .22. I shot at 50 and 100 yards on a very humid day, and the P-3 shot wonderfully. RTI has long made a strong, dependable platform that is hunting and competition ready. This rifle is great with both pellets and slugs though in this video I stuck with the JSB 25.39s MRD. The humidity was extremely bad today and fogging up my scope. Sorry about that!

Sweet gun, the accuracy was awesome despite the fact that you were quickly sending. Love how small and minimal it looks. Is it quiet without a moderator?

I tried at 880fps (per my usual tune with 25.39s) but it did seem to like it a bit hotter at low 900s. I did try it up at 960 etc and they did well at that speed as well. I think if I owned one I would go 90 bar or so and maybe explore the plenum extension to see what that would do. As for noise, it was right in there with other HP airguns like the Ghost, but not as loud as a Brocock Concept (which on a side note from my firearm days, the Concept Lite is one of the most enjoyable airguns to listen to on the cycling. It just reminds me of a traditional bolt rifle like a Mosin Nagant or 30-06. As a guy that enjoys how things sound, the Concept is absolutely awesome). Yes, the RTI is pretty dang quiet all things considered and with a moderator and the reg turned down, definitely backyard friendly.

I have the standard P-3 in .25. I run a Tatsu or the RTI carbon moderator on it. It’s tuned hot (66-67fpe), but still the rifle is backyard friendly. I’m amazed at how quiet it is for the punch it packs.

Now, full disclosure- I only have neighbors on two sides and they are pretty cool with my airgun activities. I also have about 48yds of semi-wooded yard to dampen the noise.

The sound of the impact is NOT quiet, though. Haha!
